About this Class:
This engaging drama workshop is a perfect holiday activity for creative kids looking to explore the wonderful world of acting! Over three two-hour sessions, students will learn how to create characters, memorize dialogue, and use their voice, body, and imagination to bring stories to life. Students will also have the opportunity to work towards and practice a short performance that they can put on for their friends and family at the end of the workshop! Whether your child already loves drama or is looking to try it out for the first time, this workshop is the perfect way to experience the joy of acting in a safe, encouraging space! No previous experience needed—just bring your smile and your imagination! This class also includes a complementary play on The PlayHouse before or after the class. What do students need to bring? Please bring a water bottle, filled with water only. What do the students need to wear? Comfortable clothes for acting and movement. Who will the teacher be? Your teacher for this class will be Amielle. Amielle’s love for drama began early. She thrives in bringing characters to life and dreams of inspiring others through the art of storytelling. Please Note: This class has a minimum student number to proceed. In the unlikely event that this is not reached you will be notified and receive a full refund.
