About this Class:
This is a fun, high-energy Hip Hop class where kids can learn new moves, build their confidence and, most importantly, have a good time! We’ll work on Hip Hop foundations, grooves, choreography, musicality and performance, with a bit of that Poly Swag flavour thrown in too. There’ll also be some fun, age-appropriate TikTok-inspired moves that kids can have a laugh with and even take home to show the family (whānau!). Whether your child is brand new to dance or has been dancing for years, everyone is welcome. Classes will cater to different ability levels, so students can learn at their own pace, challenge themselves and keep growing. My biggest thing is creating a space where kids feel comfortable to give things a go. If you walk into my class thinking, “Nah, I can’t do that!” my goal is for you to walk out thinking, “Actually… I can!” WHAT DO I NEED TO BRING? Just yourself, some good energy and your own water bottle, filled with water only. 💧 WHAT SHOULD I WEAR? Anything comfortable and modest that you can move freely in. There’s no uniform required just come ready to dance! WHO WILL MY TEACHER BE? Your teacher will be Sheena, a proud Kiwi who has been dancing since she was six years old. Sheena is passionate about creating a fun, safe and encouraging space where kids can be themselves, have a laugh, learn new skills and build confidence along the way. So come ready for good music, good vibes, plenty of laughs and A WHOLE LOT OF HYPE! PLEASE NOTE This class has a minimum student number required for the class to proceed. Booking Policy
Fees: Fees are displayed for each class on the booking page. They are for 1 term of classes, and are paid in full at the time of booking. LHCA have no facilities to stagger payments throughout a term or to receive payment via any other method than the online booking page on our website. Students will not be enrolled until the online booking and payment process has been completed. We are endeavouring to make all classes as affordable as possible, and as such do not have the systems for reserving class spots beyond the actual booking process. Pricing is based on a lesson fee multiplied by the number of weeks the lesson is being provided in each given term. We are unable to offer refunds for missed classes, whether this be because of illness, injury, travel, or change of mind. In extremely extenuating circumstances we may be able to consider a a partial refund by application in writing to admin@lhca.org.au.
